As we expand, we are seeking a motivated and results-driven Sales Executive to join our team and help drive new business opportunities.

Job Overview: As a Sales Executive, your primary responsibility will be to build and maintain relationships with shippers throughout the U.S. You will actively seek out new prospects, understand their shipping needs, and present our brokerage services as the optimal solution. Your goal is to persuade shippers to partner with us, ensuring that our services meet their logistics requirements and contribute to their overall business success.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Identify and target potential shippers in the U.S. who would benefit from our brokerage services.
  2. Leverage various sales tools, databases, and cold-calling techniques to generate new business leads.
  3. Research and understand the unique needs of each shipper and tailor outreach efforts accordingly.
  4. Conduct sales calls, meetings, and presentations to educate shippers about our services and the value we offer.
  5. Demonstrate our services' competitive advantages, including cost savings, reliability, and efficiency.
  6. Address any questions or concerns and provide solutions that align with each shipper's goals.

Relationship Building:

  1. Establish and maintain long-term relationships with decision-makers and key stakeholders within shipper organizations.
  2. Serve as the main point of contact for clients throughout the sales cycle and beyond, ensuring excellent customer service and satisfaction.

Negotiation & Closing Deals:

  1. Develop customized proposals and pricing models that meet the needs of potential clients.
  2. Negotiate terms, close sales, and successfully onboard new clients.
  3. Work with internal teams to ensure smooth implementation of services for new clients.

Performance Tracking & Reporting:

  1. Meet and exceed sales targets and performance metrics.
  2. Regularly update CRM systems with prospect and client information, sales activities, and progress.
  3. Provide regular reports on sales performance, market trends, and competitor activity.

Qualifications:

  1. Proven experience in sales, preferably in the logistics, freight, or transportation industry.
  2. Strong understanding of the shipping and freight brokerage market in the U.S.
  3. Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  4. Ability to build rapport and maintain strong relationships with clients.
  5. Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently.
  6. Comfortable working in a fast-paced, results-driven environment.
  7. Experience with CRM software and sales tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot, etc.).
  8. A valid driver's license and the ability to travel for client meetings (as needed).

Preferred Skills:

  1. Existing network of contacts within the shipping or transportation industry.
  2. Knowledge of supply chain management, logistics solutions, and industry trends.
  3. Previous experience in cold-calling, B2B sales, and/or freight brokerage.
