We are looking for a Software Engineer, experienced in React and other frontend programming languages, interested in being part of a platform handling millions of requests per day. You will conceive, design, and deliver complex products, pushing the boundaries of perfection. Daily tasks include continuous integrations, auto-scaled rolling releases, and creating event-driven, service-oriented architectures.

At dubizzle, you'll be part of high-performing cross-functional "Squads" with a mission to provide win-win exchanges for our users.

In this role, you will:
  • Work closely with other teams from design to resolving production issues, handling the complete SDLC.
  • Support a range of products focusing on automation, availability, performance, and reliability, supporting mobile engineers and business intelligence during each sprint.
  • Build an industry-leading platform focused on innovation.
  • Develop elegant solutions for complex problems.
  • Write and maintain exemplary code following dubizzle's practices.
  • Understand the complete architecture of our products and your product stream's role.
  • Mentor peers in a collaborative environment, providing guidance on tasks of any complexity.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's in Computer Science or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in JavaScript and client-side technologies.
  • 3+ years of production experience in React.
  • Ability to build applications in React.
  • Understanding of build tools like Webpack and package managers like Yarn & NPM.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to defend your viewpoints during discussions.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and adapt quickly in a dynamic environment.
