The Position

We are looking for a Senior Software Developer for our team having below mentioned skillset:

Required Skills

• Advanced proficiency in IBM DB/2 for i Structured Query Language (SQL/PL)
• Database management and monitoring using available tools (IBM iACS Tools, Erwin Data Modeler)
• Application Performance Analysis using IBM i Native Tools
• Nature and suitability of IBM i data management methods in a regulated production environment.
• Data Definition Language/Data Manipulation Language (DDL/DDM)
• Nature and characteristics of IBM i SQL objects (Identities, Deleted Record Reuse, PRTSQLINF)
• Programming IBM i Server
• Languages: IBM i Control Language (CL)
• RPG, RPG/400, RPG IV
• RPG/ILE Service Programs and Binder Language
• Embedded SQL in RPGLE - using Set-based processing methods
• Native IBM i API use
• IDEs: Rational Developer for IBM i (RDi)
• VS Code for IBM i (Visual Code for IBM i)
• PDM/SEU
• Debugging and Forensics: STRDBG
• Debugging procedures in RDi SQL Scripts
• IBM i-based Third Party Tool Use and Administration
• Aldon LMi/RDOi SCMS for IBM i
• Implementation and workflow administration in a multi-delta release environment
• User/developer administration in a multi-developer environment
• Exit point development
• Hawkeye Pathfinder - Administration and Maintenance
• Fresche X-Analysys - Administration and Maintenance
• Developer Tools Administration
• Data Architecture Stewardship, Data modeling (Erwin DM, Toad DM, RDA)
• IBM i Legacy data model modernization from DDS to DDL (refactoring and Surrogate LF methods)
• Issue tracking through JIRA and Salesforce, with other documentation in Confluence and SharePoint.
