We are looking for Accounts & Tax Manager in Karachi - Onsite

Client company introduction:
The company has been a leading distributor of chemicals and allied products, serving Local and Multi-National Companies.
About the Role:
We are seeking a detail-oriented, highly organized, and experienced Accounts & Tax Managerto join our team. Candidate will be responsible for managing all tax-related manners while also handling general accounting functions. The ideal candidate should possess strong knowledge oftax laws and accounting principles and be able to work independently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure compliance with FBR tax regulations.
- Prepare and file Income Tax returns, GST returns, WHT returns and other relevant filings.
- Manage tax planning strategies to optimize tax positions.
- Liaise with external auditors and tax authorities as needed.
- Monitor changes in tax laws and assess their impact on the business.
- Maintain proper documentation for tax-related matters.
- Maintain accurate financial records and prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financialstatements.
- Manage accounts payable/receivable, general ledger, bank reconciliations and Invoicing.
- Perform month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal controls.

Qualifications:
-Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance or Professional Certification e.g. ACCA or CA.
-2+ years of experience in accounting and tax management.
-Strong understanding of Pakistan tax regulations and financial reporting.
-Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
-Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
-Ability to manage multiple responsibilities and meet right deadlines.

Work Timings: Monday to Saturday: 09:00 A.M to 06: 00 PM
Work Mode: Onsite
Location: Karachi
