Job Description
As a Trainee Accountant at OutForce Consultancy (Private) Limited, you will gain practical experience in accounting, audit, and financial reporting. You will work under the supervision of experienced professionals and be exposed to a variety of client work, developing a strong foundation in financial consulting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in preparation of income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements under supervision. Record financial transactions accurately in accounting systems.
  • Perform bank reconciliation to identify and report discrepancies.
  • Help audit teams by gathering documentation, performing basic audit procedures, and preparing working papers.
  • Monitor incoming and outgoing invoices and support the processing of accounts payable and receivable.
  • Organize and maintain client records and documentation both physically and digitally. Assist in preparing variance reports by comparing budgeted and actual performance.
  • Learn and apply accounting standards like GAAP and IFRS under guidance.
  • Collaborate with senior accountants and respond constructively to feedback.
  • Support month-end and year-end closing activities including journal entries and account reviews.
  • Perform administrative tasks such as printing reports, compiling files, and assisting in client communication.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field (or currently pursuing).
  • Actively pursuing CA/ACCA/ACMA certification.
  • Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial statements.
