Job Description

We are looking for a competent Node.js Developer who has diverse expertise in the backend of business applications and web services using Node.js. The candidate must have a thorough knowledge of software development best practices and agile methodology, including coding standards and continuous integration. This is a full-time onsite job. #LI-Onsite

What we want from you:

  • Expert in database architecture and creating RESTful APIs, GraphQL, etc. using Node.js.
  • Design and build core frameworks on Node.js, shared services, NPM packages, and RESTful/socket APIs.
  • Expert in developing strong and powerful backends with complex features using MEAN or MERN.
  • Translate complex requirements into an easy-to-understand user experience by following the user-centered design process.
  • Document and follow best design and development practices.
  • Follow best practices around source control, deployment, and issue tracking.
  • Evaluate and perform design tradeoffs regarding the architecture and software components.
  • Must have hands-on experience with EmberJS or ReactJS.
  • Proficiency in Google Maps APIs and Sockets.
  • Experience with source/version control systems such as GIT.
  • Experience with build management tools such as Bamboo, Maven.

Qualifications
  • Excellent oral and written English communication skills and the ability to interact effectively with team members of varied backgrounds in Pakistan or the US office.
  • BS/MS in computer science/engineering, or relevant engineering discipline/experience preferred.
  • Eagerness to learn new technologies quickly. Knowledge of object-oriented design, design patterns, and core Java coding principles.
  • Proven experience as a Back-End Developer with a strong portfolio of web applications.
  • Experience with automated software testing, real-time system integration, database programming, web technologies, and cloud technologies (AWS preferred).
  • Experience and comfort working within a dynamic and agile-focused environment.
