Social Media Marketing Specialist

We are seeking a highly motivated and creative Social Media Marketing Specialist to join our team in a hybrid capacity based in Karachi. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and executing engaging social media campaigns that align with our brand objectives and drive audience engagement. This role involves content creation, digital strategy implementation, performance analysis, and community management to enhance our brand presence across all major platforms.

Role Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and creative Social Media Marketing Specialist to join our team in a hybrid capacity based in Karachi. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and executing engaging social media campaigns that align with our brand objectives and drive audience engagement. This role involves content creation, digital strategy implementation, performance analysis, and community management to enhance our brand presence across all major platforms.

Key Responsibilities
  • Content Creation & Management
  • Develop, design, and schedule high-quality, engaging, and brand-aligned content for all social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter/X, TikTok, YouTube, etc.).
  • Collaborate with graphic designers, to produce multimedia content (images, videos, reels, stories, carousels).
  • Social Media Strategy
  • Plan and execute social media campaigns that support overall marketing objectives.
  • Identify trends, hashtags, and opportunities to grow engagement organically.
  • Align content with product launches, events, promotions, and seasonal campaigns.
  • Community Engagement
  • Manage daily interactions with followers, respond to comments and DMs, and maintain a positive brand image.
  • Engage with industry influencers, communities, and partners to expand reach.
  • Analytics & Reporting
  • Track and report on social media KPIs using analytics tools (Meta Insights, Google Analytics, etc.).
  • Use insights to improve content performance, boost engagement, and guide future strategy.
  • Perform competitor and industry benchmarking.
  • Paid Campaigns (Optional but Preferred)
  • Plan and manage paid social media advertising campaigns to increase reach and conversions.
  • Monitor ad performance and optimize for cost-effectiveness and ROI.
  • SEO/SEM & Digital Marketing Support
  • Collaborate with the digital marketing team to ensure social media content supports SEO and SEM strategies.
  • Contribute to email campaigns, blogs, and website updates when needed.
Required Qualifications
  • Proven experience (3+ years) in social media marketing, content creation, or digital marketing roles.
  • Strong knowledge of platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, YouTube, and Twitter/X.
  • Proficiency with content creation tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, CapCut, etc.).
  • Familiarity with social media analytics and scheduling tools (e.g., Meta Business Suite, Buffer, Hootsuite, Later).
  • Understanding of SEO and SEM best practices as they relate to social media.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English (Urdu is a plus).
  • Strong time management and organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or a related field.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience running Facebook/Instagram ad campaigns and reporting performance.
  • Creative mindset with an eye for visual storytelling.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a hybrid/remote setup.
