Job Description: Account Officer

Responsibilities:

  1. Prepare and maintain financial records, including invoices, expenses, and other related documents.
  2. Assist in the preparation of financial statements, such as balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  3. Monitor and reconcile account balances, bank statements, and general ledger accounts.
  4. Conduct financial analysis and provide recommendations for improvement.
  5. Prepare and submit tax returns and ensure compliance with tax regulations.
  6. Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts.
  7. Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to resolve financial issues.
  8. Proactively identify opportunities for process improvements and implement necessary changes.
  9. Stay updated with industry regulations and accounting practices.

Job Specification:

  1. Minimum of 2 years of experience as an Account Officer or similar role in the accounting industry.
  2. Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
  3. Proficiency in using accounting software and related tools.
  4. Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  5. Attention to detail and accuracy.
  6. Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  7. Ability to work independently and in a team.
  8. Problem-solving and analytical abilities.
  9. Understanding of tax regulations and compliance.
