Job Summary:As a Business Development Specialist, you will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, cultivating client relationships, and driving revenue growth on a per-project basis. This role is ideal for professionals who thrive on autonomy, possess a strong entrepreneurial mindset, and are motivated by performance-based earnings.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead Generation & Prospecting:
- Identify and approach potential clients and partners through various channels (cold calling, LinkedIn, referrals, industry events, etc.).
- Research industry trends and target markets to support business strategy.
- Sales & Relationship Management:
- Pitch products and services to prospects in a consultative sales manner.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients.
- Negotiate deals, pricing, and contract terms in alignment with company goals.
- Project-Based Growth:
- Drive business development initiatives tailored to specific projects or market segments.
- Collaborate with project teams to ensure smooth handoffs and client satisfaction.
- Reporting & Analysis:
- Track pipeline activity and performance through regular reports.
- Analyze win/loss data to refine sales strategies.
- Proven track record in business development, sales, or client acquisition.
- Experience working on a commission-based or freelance structure is a strong plus.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage time effectively.
- Self-motivated and goal-oriented with a high drive to succeed.
- Familiarity with CRM tools and remote work tools is advantageous.
