Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role in Karachi for a Sub Editor - English & Urdu. The Sub Editor will handle translation, communication, proofreading, writing, and editing tasks daily.

Qualifications

  • Strong command of both English and Urdu (written and spoken)
  • Experience in editing and proofreading news content
  • Familiarity with newsroom workflows and editorial standards
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Mass Communication, Languages, or a related field
  • Prior experience as a sub-editor or in a similar editorial role is preferred
