Based in ACS's Lahore office, you will be an integral member of a finance shared services center, supporting an offshore Chief Financial Officer team in the Middle East.

The Role

As part of a dedicated shared services center, the objective is to provide comprehensive support to the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) team in areas such as financial reporting, International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) compliance, financial planning and analysis (FP&A), and other accounting and reporting activities. All tasks must be executed in a timely, efficient, and accurate manner, adhering to established quality standards and directives.

Main Responsibilities
  • Provide support for preparing Financial Statements, IFRS compliance, and group consolidation.
  • Support various FP&A tasks.
  • Process accounting transactions, collect, analyze, and interpret accounting records for bookkeeping purposes.
  • Assist with managing the monthly closing process.
  • Help prepare, finalize, consolidate, and file financial statements according to applicable standards.
  • Assist with tax computations and filings.
  • Support other statutory filings.
  • Liaise with auditors for audit finalization.
  • Follow up with clients and auditors to resolve outstanding matters promptly.
  • Maintain updated accounting databases through systematic data entry.
  • Perform any other related duties as required.
Qualifications, Experience, and Skills
  • ACCA qualified (or part-qualified with over two years of experience).
  • Minimum two years of post-qualification experience in industry or practice.
  • Good knowledge of IFRS and experience with group consolidations.
  • Proficient in Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Strong communication, analytical skills, and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work under pressure, prioritize effectively, and manage workload independently.
