Senior Accountant for UK Clients

We are seeking an experienced accountant to join our team as a senior accountant. This is a key position that requires strong leadership skills, excellent communication, and a thorough understanding of accounting principles and procedures. As a senior accountant, you will be responsible for managing a team of accountants, preparing financial statements, and ensuring client satisfaction.
About the Role
In this role, you will be working closely with clients to deliver high-quality accounting services. Your main responsibilities will include managing a team of four accountants, training them, and pushing them to become great accountants. You will also be responsible for preparing financial statements, trial balances, VAT returns, and other core accounting functions. As a senior accountant, you will be part of a fast-growing business that provides opportunities for career growth and development.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong background in UK clients, excellent knowledge of accounting principles and procedures, and proficiency in using Google Sheets and Google Docs. You will also need to have a good understanding of process improvement techniques and be able to track team KPIs, ensure client satisfaction, train and grow the team, improve processes, and engage in continuous learning.
