Principal Responsibilities

The position, based in Hyderabad, is strategic for our Corporate Banking team. This market has seen significant activity and success in recent years and requires further development.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Manage existing portfolio and achieve revenue targets. Target new-to-bank customers and identify new-to-product opportunities within the current customer base. Develop and maintain these relationships, focusing on products such as working capital finance, term loans, external commercial borrowings, structured trade solutions, treasury solutions, and capital market and investment banking services. The role primarily manages local large corporates based in Telangana and Andhra Pradesh.
  2. Contribute to the development and execution of strategies to differentiate HSBC from competitors, including:
  • Business development: Manage a complex, mature client portfolio and position HSBC as the preferred service provider.
  • Drive acquisition of new clients and grow the bank's lending portfolio in corporate banking.
  • Maintain primary relationships with existing customers to meet profitability targets.
  • Coordinate marketing efforts with various product teams to increase wallet share and meet product targets.
  • Expand portfolio growth through cross-selling across various banking products.
  • Explore business development opportunities outside traditional markets.
  • Create new business opportunities and foster positive customer relationships to increase market visibility.
Develop strong credit assessment skills to ensure quality of credit across existing and new relationships. Analyze financial statements, cash flows, industry trends, trade, and working capital cycles.Maintain credit quality in line with bank policies and manage stressed accounts according to guidelines.#J-18808-Ljbffr
