The Department of Medicine comprises of independent sections of Cardiology, Dermatology, Endocrinology, Gastroenterology, Internal Medicine, Infectious Diseases, Nephrology, Neurology, and Pulmonary & Critical Care. The department has over 70+ full-time Faculty with a strong commitment to undergraduate and postgraduate education and research. Residency Programmes are offered in Internal Medicine, Neurology, Adult Cardiology, Gastroenterology, Pulmonary Medicine, Nephrology and Dermatology, as well as Fellowship Programmes in Clinical Neurophysiology & Electrodiagnostic Medicine, Diabetes, Endocrinology & Metabolism, Interventional Cardiology and Infectious Diseases.

Aga Khan University invites applications for the position of Research Fellow in the Department of Medicine.

Responsibilities

You will be responsible to:

  • ensure all project milestones are completed on schedule
  • lead and facilitate effective collaboration among team members
  • maintain high-quality standards and adherence to regulatory requirements
  • strictly follow study protocol induction instruction, electrode application position and other standards related to it
  • develop and oversee project budgets to ensure financial efficiency
  • ensure effective communication and engagement with study participants to enhance their experience and compliance.
Requirements

You should have:

  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing or Master's in Nursing/ Epidemiology and Biostats/Public Health/Health Policy & Management
  • at least 3 years of postgraduate professional experience
  • strong interest in cardiovascular diseases
  • proven experience in research and application of biostatistics
  • expertise in statistical analysis and proficient in SPSS and STATA.
