Position Overview:

Abacus is seeking enthusiastic and experienced professionals to fill two key roles within its HR team: Assistant Manager, HR who will play a critical role in driving HR excellence and supporting the company's mission to transform organizations. This role offers dynamic and impactful responsibilities, and is ideal for highly organized individuals with a strong operational and recruitment focus.

This role will assist in driving the end-to-end recruitment process, ensuring alignment with company goals and helping to shape the future workforce, overseeing and managing key HR processes to ensure efficient payroll, contract management, employee separations, grievance resolution, and data integrity. The Assistant Manager will work to maintain smooth HR operations and compliance with all legal and company requirements, collaborating with HR and department heads to identify top talent and improve recruitment strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Recruitment Strategy: Assist in developing recruitment strategies and workforce planning.
  2. End-to-End Recruitment Process: Manage the full recruitment cycle from job postings to offer extension.
  3. Candidate Experience: Ensure a positive experience for candidates throughout the recruitment process.
  4. Employer Branding: Assist in employer branding activities such as campus recruitment and social media campaigns.
  5. Data & Reporting: Maintain records of recruitment activities, analyze metrics, and improve recruitment processes.
  6. Onboarding Support: Coordinate with the HR team to ensure smooth onboarding of new hires.
  7. Team Collaboration: Work with HR to continuously improve recruitment processes and ensure alignment with organizational goals.
  8. Payroll Processing: Ensure accuracy in payroll, resolve discrepancies, and meet payroll deadlines.
  9. Contract Management: Oversee new hire and renewal contracts, ensuring timely processing.
  10. Employee Separation Handling: Manage employee separations and ensure compliance with company policies.
  11. Data Management & Audits: Conduct regular audits and maintain data accuracy.
  12. Grievance Resolution: Handle employee grievances professionally and resolve issues promptly.
  13. Verification Processing: Manage police checks, settlement verifications, and medical claim processing.
  14. Document Issuance: Ensure timely issuance of employment and experience letters.
  15. Settlement Processing: Oversee settlement processing with a focus on data accuracy.
  16. Employee File Audits: Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with legal requirements.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. 5-7 years of recruitment or HR experience, preferably in the BPO industry with a focus on payroll, contract management, and employee relations.
  • Strong knowledge of recruitment strategies and sourcing techniques, HR processes, employment law, and HRIS systems.
  • Proficient in Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with labor laws and recruitment best practices.
  • Payroll or Data Management certifications (e.g., Certified Payroll Professional).
  • Experience in Employee Relations and Conflict Resolution.
