We are seeking a skilled and experienced DevOps Consultant to join our team on a part-time, on-site basis. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in IT, with a strong focus on DevOps practices. You will be responsible for managing Infrastructure as Code (IaC), automating deployments, optimizing cloud environments, and ensuring robust system security.

Key Responsibilities:

Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Design and manage infrastructure using tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible.

CI/CD Pipelines: Implement and maintain continuous integration & deployment workflows using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, or CircleCI.

System Administration: Manage and optimize Linux-based environments, ensuring system stability, security, and performance.

Cloud Platforms: Deploy and manage applications on AWS, Azure, Google Cloud (GCP), and DigitalOcean etc.

Containerization & Orchestration: Work with Docker and Kubernetes for scalable and efficient deployments.

Monitoring & Logging: Implement monitoring solutions like Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, Datadog, or New Relic.

Security & Compliance: Ensure system security using best practices in access management, firewall configurations, and vulnerability assessments.

Networking & Load Balancing: Manage DNS, reverse proxies, and load balancers such as Nginx, HAProxy, and Traefik.

Automation & Scripting: Develop automation scripts using Python, Bash, or PowerShell to streamline workflows.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Experience with IaC tools (Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation)

Proficiency in CI/CD pipelines and automation tools

Expertise in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP, DigitalOcean etc)

Experience with version control systems (Git, GitHub, GitLab)

Familiarity with security best practices and system hardening

Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills

Excellent collaboration and communication skills

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field (preferred)
