BAT Global Business Solutions Pakistan has an exciting opportunity for Assistant Manager Corporate Finance in Lahore

Contract Type: Fixed-term contract for 12 months.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure timely analysis, identification, communication, and resolution of balance sheet account reconciliation issues to prevent frauds and monetary losses due to inappropriate accounting practices.
  • Manage the Finance Shared Services Central budget, including preparation and reporting.
  • Support line manager with understanding and challenging regional GBS company budgets, and provide finance inputs to global planning processes.
  • Coordinate planning and reporting during the annual and quarterly cycles.
  • Support ongoing business model changes and participate in ad hoc reviews and projects.
  • Act as the primary contact for local auditors regarding financial data.
  • Generate monthly financial overviews and explain variances to management.
  • Manage quarterly planning exercises and the company's financial plan.
What We Are Looking For:
  • 3-5 years of experience in finance within a global FMCG or similar environment.
  • Proficiency with finance tools and systems such as BI/BPC, SAP, or ERP systems.
  • Understanding of accounting processes and practices.
  • Ability to analyze reports, identify issues, and challenge data challenges.
  • Meticulous, proactive, analytical, and able to work under pressure with minimal supervision.
  • Knowledge of risk identification and control implementation.
  • Experience with audit and compliance (internal and external).
  • Degree and professional qualification (CA/ACCA/CIMA/CPA).
