Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled OpenShift Red Hat Linux Engineer to join our team in Lahore. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Linux system administration, containerization, and OpenShift platform management. You will be responsible for deploying, maintaining, and supporting enterprise-level OpenShift environments, as well as ensuring the performance, stability, and security of Red Hat Linux systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and maintain OpenShift Container Platform clusters in enterprise environments.
  • Administer, configure, and patch Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) systems.
  • Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, and deployment processes using tools like Ansible and Terraform.
  • Monitor system performance, availability, and security across OpenShift and Linux platforms.
  • Collaborate with DevOps, Security, and Application teams to support CI/CD pipelines and containerized applications.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to OpenShift clusters and RHEL environments.
  • Implement high-availability and disaster recovery solutions.
  • Maintain documentation related to systems architecture, processes, and policies.
  • Conduct capacity planning and performance tuning.
  • Stay up to date with emerging technologies and best practices in container orchestration and Linux system administration.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 10–12 years of hands-on experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux.
  • Minimum 3–5 years of hands-on experience with OpenShift (v4.x preferred).
  • Strong expertise in Kubernetes, Docker, and container orchestration.
  • Proficiency with automation tools such as Ansible, Terraform, or Puppet.
  • Experience in implementing CI/CD pipelines and integrating with DevOps tools.
  • Deep understanding of networking, storage, and security concepts in Linux/Container environments.
  • Experience with monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK stack.
  • Red Hat certifications such as RHCE, RHCSA, or Red Hat Certified Specialist in OpenShift are highly desirable.
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
