Roots IVY International School System is looking for a UAN Call Exchange Operatorwho will be responsible for managing incoming and outgoing calls through the Universal Access Number (UAN) system. The role is specifically focused onTelephone Exchange Operator duties, including handling and transferring client calls to relevant departments and branch offices, while maintaining a high standard of customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate and manage allincoming and outgoing calls via the UAN systemwith efficiency and professionalism.
  • Answer and transfer client callsto the appropriate department, staff member, or campus as required.
  • Serve as thefirst point of contactfor callers, representing the school system in a courteous and helpful manner.
  • Maintain adetailed call logdocumenting inquiries, complaints, call routing, and follow-up requirements.
  • Ensureaccurate and timely call transferswithout delay or confusion.
  • Monitor and report anytechnical issuesrelated to the UAN or telephone system to the IT or support team.
  • Maintain and update theschool's internal contact directory and extensions listregularly.
  • Handlebasic client inquiriesrelated to admissions, academics, fee structure, and events, and escalate complex issues appropriately.
  • Coordinate with internal departments formessage taking, callback requests, or issue resolutions.
  • Provide support foroutbound communicationwhen necessary (e.g., admission campaigns, parent notifications).

Education:Minimum Bachelor Degree or equivalent in telecommunication, IT, or office administration preferred.

  • 2–3 years in a similar role involving UAN operations, telephone exchange, or customer call handling.
  • Strong command ofverbal communication and active listeningskills.
  • Proficient inmultitaskingand managing multiple lines simultaneously.
  • Knowledge ofbasic CRM systemsand call tracking tools is a plus.
  • Professional demeanor, punctuality, and a client-first attitude.
  • Ability to work calmly under pressure, especially during peak hours
