Coordinating, overseeing, and carrying out a variety of responsibilities, such as choosing materials, offering more thorough consultations, and communicating with architects or contractors.

Dealing with customer demands and expectations through negotiation.

Providing a range of information, including specification submittals, technical reports, regulatory details, tests and certifications, installation guidelines, pricing, and availability.

Investing time in creating and maintaining strong customer relationships, as well as generating and pursuing new leads.

Writing and maintaining accurate records and documentation using Excel and Salesforce CRM. These may include sales and target records, client and project data, quotes, and growth opportunities.

Attending sales and planning meetings, presentations, seminars, site visits, and industry exhibitions.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Knowledge of creating sales forecasts, identifying new growth areas, and analyzing sales performance data.
  • In-depth understanding of the market, Sika's products and their applications, and the ability to relate this to health and safety standards, environmental considerations, and quality requirements.
  • Excellent time management and planning skills.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
  • Flexibility regarding working hours, travel, and being away from home.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Innovative mindset with a strong analytical approach.
  • Results-oriented, driven, dynamic, and persistent.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Proficiency with software such as Office 365 (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), Salesforce, etc.

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or Design, with 1 to 2 years of sales experience.
