Opening: Junior Accountant (Accounting/Audit Firm Experienced)

Job Description: Applicants should ideally be CA qualified with at least 1 year of practice experience or can be ACCA/CIMA part-qualified.

Responsibilities:

  • Accounts Receivable & Payable: Matching, coding, and processing purchase/sales invoices.
  • Debtor Balances: Keeping debtor balances within target and periodically reconciling customer accounts; reconciling AR balances to control accounts.
  • Queries & Reconciliations: Resolving customer/supplier queries, dealing with staff expenses, supplier statement reconciliations, BACS payments, distributing remittance advices, daily bank reconciliations, and ensuring bank balances match control accounts.
  • Reporting: Producing daily and weekly reports, preparing monthly management accounts, and leading monthly balance sheet reviews.
  • System Implementation & Compliance: Implementing accounting systems, training colleagues, assisting in external reporting (HMRC, Companies House), preparing files for audits, and improving reporting processes and controls.

The Successful Applicant:

  • Qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA with at least 1+ years of experience.
  • Capable of supporting clients end-to-end independently.
  • Experience with accounting system implementation.
  • Experience in financial and management accounting and controls.
  • Excellent IT skills, including advanced Excel.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Self-management skills and ability to prioritize tasks.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Results-oriented with a positive attitude.

Additional Details:

  • Experience: 1+ years
  • Work Timings: 1 pm to 9 pm (UK 9 am - 5 pm)
  • Work Days: Monday - Friday
  • Location: Lahore - Onsite
  • Salary: Market Competitive
