Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Sub Editor - English at Aaj TV located in Karachi. The Sub Editor will be responsible for translation, communication, proofreading, writing, and text editing tasks as part of the daily editorial processes.

Qualifications

  • Translation and Communication skills
  • Proofreading and Writing skills
  • Text Editing skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • Knowledge of journalism principles and practices
  • Experience in news editing or editorial work preferred
  • Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Communications, or related field
