Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Product Manager / Business Manager Credit Cards (Consumer Assets) for banking industry, located in Karāchi. The role involves managing the product lifecycle of credit cards, analyzing market trends, developing business plans, and overseeing sales strategies. Daily tasks include conducting market analysis, coordinating project management activities, and working closely with different departments to ensure strategic alignment and operational excellence.

  • Defining project scope, objectives, schedules, and budgets; developing detailed project plans and specifications; and managing the overall direction and integrity of the project.
  • Coordinating internal and external resources, including technical teams, vendors, and stakeholders, to ensure project success.
  • Identifying, assessing, and mitigating potential project risks, including technical, financial, and operational risks.
  • Engaging with various stakeholders, including business units, technical teams, and management, to ensure alignment and support for project initiatives.
  • Tracking project progress, identifying potential issues, and reporting on project status to stakeholders.
  • Managing changes to project scope, schedule, and budget, ensuring that changes are properly documented and approved.
  • Ensuring that project deliverables meet the required quality standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Managing relationships with card processing vendors, ensuring timely delivery of card products and services.
  • Identifying and resolving problems that arise during the project lifecycle.
  • Act as a bridge between technical team and Product/Business teams to ensure smooth implementation.
  • Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and milestones for implementation projects.
  • Coordinate activities across technical teams, ensuring smooth execution.
  • Monitor progress, identify risks, and proactively address issues.

Qualifications

  • In-depth knowledge of the card product & business and cross functional integration
  • Proven ability to manage cards project effectively with a deep insight on alliances and product life cycle
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and make informed decisions.
  • Past experience on managing ENR, building P & L
  • With focus on multiple NFI lines and alliances
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, capable of influencing and collaborating with diverse stakeholders.
  • Experience with Agile development methodologies.
  • PMP certification
