Data Architect (Snowflake & BI) (Pakistan) – Join Our Client Team

We are seeking an experienced Data Architect (Snowflake & BI) to lead data modeling, transformation, and business intelligence initiatives. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in back-end development, data warehousing, and visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI, and QlikView. This role requires strong skills in SQL (DDL/DML), spatial analysis, and star/snowflake schema modeling.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Data Architecture & Modeling: Design and implement scalable data models using star and snowflake schemas to support business intelligence and analytics.
  • SQL Development: Write efficient DDL/DML SQL scripts for data transformation, analysis, and management.
  • Business Intelligence & Visualization: Build advanced Tableau dashboards with interactive features such as LOD calculations, set/parameter actions, Sankey diagrams, and sheet swapping.
  • Geospatial Analysis: Utilize custom shapefiles, GeoJSON, and spatial calculations to provide deeper geospatial insights.
  • Data Governance & Security: Implement best practices to ensure data accuracy, security, and compliance with industry standards.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including data engineers, analysts, and business leaders, to develop robust, scalable, and impactful data solutions.
  • Performance Optimization: Optimize Snowflake and BI solutions for efficiency, scalability, and fast query performance.

Must-Have Skills:

  • Expertise in Snowflake – Data modeling, transformation, and performance tuning.
  • Strong SQL Skills (DDL/DML) – Writing efficient queries and stored procedures.
  • Tableau Development – Proficiency in building complex dashboards and visualizations.
  • Experience with Star/Snowflake Schema Modeling.
  • Hands-on experience with spatial analysis and geospatial data processing.
  • Knowledge of data governance, security, and compliance best practices.

Good to Have Skills:

  • Proficiency in Power BI and QlikView.
  • Relevant certifications in SQL, Snowflake, Tableau, or other BI tools.
  • Experience in additional data transformation techniques and ETL tools.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in data architecture, business intelligence, or a related role.
  • Proven experience in designing and implementing enterprise data solutions.
