Responsibilities:

  • Design, build, and review IFRS 16/ASC 842 test cases for accounting accuracy testing.
  • Provide regular reports on IFRS 16/ASC 842 compliance.
  • Develop and execute test cases based on product requirements for Nakisa software.
  • Report, prioritize, and track accounting-related bugs.
  • Collaborate with the development team to resolve defects.
  • Document defects and prepare testing reports.
  • Optimize automated test cases.
  • Research lease standards (IFRS 16 & ASC 842) to support best practices.
  • Support sales, product, and marketing activities with lease accounting expertise.
  • Capture and analyze detailed requirements, and develop solutions.
  • Participate in projects like migration and version parity for smooth transitions.

Minimum Requirements:

  • ACCA or CA qualification with at least 2 years of relevant experience.
  • Strong knowledge of lease accounting standards (IFRS 16 & ASC 842).
  • Proactive research skills to stay updated on lease standard modifications.
  • Team player with quick learning ability.

Preferred but not required:

  • Experience in IT/ERP development environment.
  • Experience with product demonstrations, especially in accounting.
  • Experience in lease accounting.
