About Client Company:

Hiring for a UAE-based leading media and entertainment firm.

1. Financial Reporting & Analysis
  • Prepare and deliver comprehensive weekly and monthly financial reports to the management team.
  • Ensure all reports are accurate, consistent, and submitted on time.
  • Gather financial and operational data from all Business Units (BUs) regularly.
  • Consolidate data from multiple BUs to create streamlined, centralized reports for management review.
  • Take full ownership of the reporting pack, including preparation, analysis, and presentation.
  • Maintain and update schedules and supporting documentation for all Profit & Loss (P&L) items.
  • Perform detailed analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Address finance-related concerns raised by regional teams with appropriate solutions.
  • Highlight major financial issues or anomalies to management promptly for corrective actions.
  • Identify and communicate key financial and operational risks impacting business performance.
2. Budgeting & Forecasting
  • Conduct weekly financial projections with regional finance teams, sales, project teams, and business managers.
  • Review project budgets, grants, and contracts to ensure alignment with financial goals.
  • Monitor and enforce budget controls across regions to prevent overspending.
  • Review Business Development plans before submission to Group Finance for feasibility and alignment.
3. Cash Flow & Working Capital Management
  • Assist finance teams with cash flow management through analysis and recommendations.
  • Maintain updated records of cash flow positions and working capital needs for all regions and BUs.
  • Track cash flow activities in real-time, identifying gaps or issues for management attention.
  • Escalate urgent cash flow concerns and propose solutions.
4. Ad Hoc Responsibilities
  • Execute additional tasks or projects as assigned by the reporting manager.
  • Support evolving business needs and contribute to organizational goals.
  • Manage multiple tasks efficiently under tight deadlines.
  • Possess knowledge of valuation methods, including Discounted Cash Flow (DCF) and financial modeling techniques.
  • Proficient in PowerPoint for impactful presentations.
  • Advanced Excel skills, including financial models, dashboards, and data analysis.
  • Experience with Microsoft Visio for process mapping.
  • Prepare and maintain reporting templates and performance tracking tools.
  • Generate projections and collaborate with teams for forecasts.
  • Utilize AI-generated insights and content for reporting and analysis.
  • Knowledge of statistical analysis for business intelligence.
  • Strong understanding of core business functions: finance, sales, operations, strategic planning.
  • High computer literacy with the ability to integrate technology into operations.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
