Overview

WordPress/WooCommerce Plugin Developer - WP Overnight. WP Overnight is part of TeamUpdraft, a global team behind popular WordPress plugins used by millions of website owners. This role focuses on developing and maintaining WooCommerce-related plugins and websites, with deep knowledge of WooCommerce, PHP, JavaScript, and WordPress.

Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with the team on the codebase to implement new features, bug fixes and improvements
  • Work with PHP, JavaScript, and WordPress libraries to write clean, efficient and secure code
  • Write inline documentation for your code
  • Test and produce testing guides for your code
  • Manage your own time to fulfil tasks
  • Research and debug problems independently or with teammates and our support team
Requirements

Must have:

  • PHP - experience with latest frameworks and libraries
  • WordPress plugin development
  • WooCommerce development

Nice to have:

  • JavaScript / jQuery
  • GitHub / GitLab / Git - familiar, can be learned quickly if used to alternatives like SVN
  • React
