Network Administrator

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Network Administrator & System Engineer with 2 years of hands-on experience to join our IT team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining and optimizing our organization's network infrastructure and systems to ensure high availability, performance, and security.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor, manage, and maintain LAN, WAN, VPN, and internet connectivity.
• Configure and troubleshoot routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points.
• Administer and support Windows/Linux-based servers, file systems, and backup solutions.
• Manage Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policies, and Office 365.
• Perform regular updates, patches, and upgrades of systems and network devices.
• Monitor system performance, identify issues, and apply proactive solutions.
• Ensure system and network security protocols, including firewall, antivirus, and endpoint protections.
• Perform user support, account management, and hardware/software installations.
• Document network changes, procedures, and infrastructure for IT audits and team reference.
• Collaborate with IT team on infrastructure projects, disaster recovery planning, and system improvements.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 2+ years of proven experience in network/system administration.
• Proficiency with Windows Server (2016/2019), Linux systems, and virtualization technologies (VMware/Hyper-V).
• Experience with networking equipment (Cisco, Ubiquiti, Mikrotik, etc.).
• Solid understanding of TCP/IP, VLANs, DNS, DHCP, and firewall management.
• Strong troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills.

Preferred Skills

• Certifications such as CCNA, MCSA, CompTIA Network+/Security+ are a plus.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, Google Cloud) is desirable.
• Familiarity with scripting (PowerShell, Bash) for automation tasks.
