OverviewResponsibilities
  • Perform serological tests (ELISA, agglutination, rapid immunoassays).
  • Process and analyze patient samples for various conditions.
  • Receive, label, and store biological specimens.
  • Prepare samples for testing (centrifugation, aliquoting, reagent preparation).
  • Follow quality control procedures to ensure test accuracy.
  • Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot lab equipment.
  • Maintain accurate lab records and data entry in LIMS.
  • Follow SOPs, health, and safety regulations.
  • Assist in training junior staff and participate in professional development.
  • Collaborate with lab staff and healthcare professionals.
  • Exposure to biohazardous materials and infectious agents.
  • Requires standing for long periods and handling lab instruments.
  • May include shift work, weekends, and on-call duties.
