Responsibilities:

  1. Social Media Strategy: Develop and execute comprehensive social media strategies aligned with global brand objectives, focusing on Meta, TikTok, and YouTube.
  2. Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and manage a high-performing social media team, fostering a collaborative and results-oriented environment.
  3. Content Creation & Curation: Oversee the creation of engaging and high-quality content (text, images, videos) optimized for each platform, reflecting the brand's voice and resonating with the sports audience.
  4. Community Management: Develop and implement community-based social media management strategies, actively engaging with followers, responding to comments and messages, and building a strong online community.
  5. Influencer Marketing: Identify, build relationships with, and manage relevant sports influencers to amplify brand messaging and reach new audiences.
  6. Platform Management: Manage and maintain brand presence across Meta, TikTok, and YouTube, ensuring consistent branding and optimal performance.
  7. Data Analysis & Reporting: Track key performance indicators (KPIs), analyze data, and generate reports on social media performance. Provide data-driven insights and recommendations to optimize strategies.
  8. Trend Monitoring: Stay ahead of social media trends, algorithm changes, and emerging platforms, adapting strategies accordingly and capitalizing on new opportunities.
  9. Multimedia Planning & Execution: Develop and execute multimedia-based content plans, incorporating various formats and leveraging platform-specific best practices.
  10. Collaboration: Collaborate with other teams (e.g., marketing, content, partnerships, influencers) to ensure consistent brand messaging and achieve shared goals.

Requirements:

  1. Experience: 4-5 years of experience in a managerial role overseeing social media channels, including team management. Agency experience is a must, with exposure to at least 2-3 different industries.
  2. Education: BBA/MBA in Marketing or an equivalent degree.
  3. Passion for Sports: A genuine interest and understanding of the sports industry, particularly boxing, MMA, athletics, and/or fitness.
  4. Skills:
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
  • Proficiency in social media management tools (please specify examples, e.g., Hootsuite, Sprout Social).
  • Strong understanding of multimedia-based planning and execution.
  • A proactive, initiative-taking mindset with trend monitoring habits.
  • Expertise in social media analytics and reporting.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Proven ability to build and manage influencer relationships.
  • Deep understanding of community-based social media management and content.
