We are currently looking for a qualified Speech Language Therapist to join our team at the Korangi Campus, Karachi A Speech & Language Therapist shall be responsible to assess, diagnose and provide therapies to individuals with communication and swallowing related concerns.

Job Description – Speech Language Therapist (Key Responsibilities)

  • Assess, diagnose, screen, and prevent language, speech, and swallowing disorders on in & out patient basis (children & adults)
  • Provide auditory verbal therapy to IHHN cochlear implant recipients
  • To assist in shortlisting patients for cochlear implant program
  • Communicate with the patient, and with their family members and physicians' effective treatment plans
  • Implement tried and tested therapies in combination with new, innovative techniques to provide the best care
  • Educate patients and their families on speech disorders and available therapies
  • Maintain detailed notes on patient history and progress
  • Evaluate patient progress and implementing changes to therapy programs as required
  • P articipate in conducting research and bring the department on the top level by innovative ideas
  • Work within a team to improve the effectiveness of service delivery
  • Manage caseload with variety of disorders relate to the field

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Speech Language Therapy from a recognized institution.
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of clinical experience
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
