Role Overview
We are looking for an ambitious and skilled Enterprise (SpringBoot, Angular) Programmer to join Global Rescue as a Software Engineer - Java Full Stack Developer. This is a Mid-level position, requiring the incumbent to work with a team of Java developers to develop enterprise-level applications in Java, SpringBoot, Angular, Microservices, JPA, and Hibernate.

Responsibilities

• Develop Java-based applications using frameworks/tools like SpringBoot, Microservices, JPA, Hibernate, and MySQL.
• Develop moderately complex software in Angular, Angular CLI, Java, or other selected languages/tools for our products and/or applications, following coding standards and software development methodologies.
• Collaborate with the design team to review and improve application backend design and participate in architecture discussions.
• Assist architects and senior developers in developing & maintaining Sequence/Class diagrams, State Transitions, Flow Charts, ERDs, and documentation.
• Optimize code for better application performance through collaboration with the design team.
• Support application support teams by investigating issues and performing code fixes when Level III support is required.
• Create and execute unit tests to ensure functional integrity.
• Utilize software engineering tools such as configuration management systems, build processes (Maven, Git/GitLab), and debuggers following the software development process.
• Participate in peer code reviews, design discussions, and performance improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT/Computer Science from a reputed university/institution.
• 3+ years of proven experience in Java, Angular, SpringBoot, JPA, Hibernate, and Spring AOP.
• Strong problem-solving skills and experience in writing complex Java code utilizing Java Collections and APIs.
• Hands-on SQL programming experience with databases like MySQL, MariaDB, PostgresSQL, or SQL Server.
• Experience designing, developing, and consuming web services with Spring REST API, JAX-RS, and JAX-WS.
• Experience with JUnit, Git/GitLab, Maven, TDD, and CI/CD processes.
• Knowledge of Object-Oriented Analysis and Design, Design Patterns, and SOA.
