Introduction

Aga Khan University (AKU), chartered in 1983 as Pakistan's first private international university, is committed to education, research, and healthcare of international standard, relevant to Pakistan and the region. The affiliated Aga Khan University Health System (AKUH) with over 900 beds at the stadium road campus and four off-campus hospitals are equipped for investigative services and provide state-of-the-art clinical facilities.

The Aga Khan University Hospital, along with its four Off Campus Hospitals, extends access through Outreach Services, including Clinical Laboratories, Outpatient Medical Centers, Pharmacy services, Home Health, and other services. Outreach Services aim to provide primary to secondary healthcare near patients' homes across several cities in Pakistan.

Responsibilities
  • Manage COO's schedules, follow up on meetings, external contacts, etc.
  • Coordinate travel and accommodation arrangements for local and international visits.
  • Schedule and coordinate events and meetings as assigned.
  • Screen telephone calls, handle them personally, and provide information based on knowledge or COO's viewpoint.
  • Ensure filing and record-keeping are designed and maintained for easy retrieval.
  • Handle day-to-day responsibilities including mail distribution, travel arrangements, and record maintenance.
  • Assist office staff with administrative tasks such as stationery and supplies.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure continuous service.
  • Support staff such as Directors, Administrators, and Managers with administrative tasks.
  • Assist in preparing presentations and demos as required.
Requirements
  • Graduate degree from a recognized university.
  • 6 to 8 years of experience in a reputable organization, preferably with a senior executive.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Strong follow-up skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft applications.
