This hybrid role requires deep expertise in cloud platforms (primarily AWS), CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure automation, and security best practices. The ideal candidate will bridge development and security, ensuring robust DevOps workflows while embedding security throughout the lifecycle.Key Responsibilities DevOps Responsibilities
  • Design, deploy, and maintain cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
  • Automate infrastructure using tools like Terraform, Ansible, or Pulumi.
  • Build and manage CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins).
  • Monitor system performance, reliability, and uptime using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch.
  • Implement scalable container orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes, ECS, EKS).
  • Optimize cost, performance, and reliability of cloud resources.
SecOps Responsibilities
  • Ensure cloud environments follow security best practices (IAM, S3 policies, VPC configs).
  • Integrate security tools into CI/CD (SAST, DAST, SCA).
  • Configure and maintain secrets management (HashiCorp Vault, AWS Secrets Manager).
  • Perform vulnerability scanning and patch management (e.g., with Snyk, Qualys).
  • Set up incident response protocols, threat detection, and audit logging.
  • Collaborate with development and security teams to enforce least privilege and zero trust principles.
Required Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, or SecOps.
  • Strong hands-on experience with AWS (EC2, RDS, Lambda, IAM, CloudTrail, etc.).
  • Expertise in Terraform, Docker, and Kubernetes.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages (Bash, Python, or Go).
  • Familiarity with modern security standards (OWASP, NIST, ISO 27001).
  • Experience with security tools (SIEM, WAF, IDS/IPS, DLP).
  • Experience managing infrastructure in production environments at scale.
Preferred Qualifications
  • AWS Certified (Solutions Architect / DevOps / Security Specialty).
  • Experience with GitOps (ArgoCD, Flux).
  • Exposure to compliance frameworks like SOC 2, HIPAA, or GDPR.
  • Prior experience in high-availability SaaS or fintech environments.
Soft Skills
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking.
  • Clear written and verbal communication.
  • Ability to mentor junior engineers and drive security-first culture.
