Job Summary

We are seeking a Senior Developer experienced in Microsoft Fabric to design, develop, and maintain robust data and analytics solutions across the organization. In this role, you will be responsible for scalable data pipelines, analytical models, and visualizations using Fabric's unified suite including Data Factory, Synapse, OneLake, and Power BI.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL/ELT processes using Microsoft Fabric tools like Data Factory and Dataflows.
  • Build and optimize Lakehouse-based data models on OneLake for performance, scalability, and reusability.
  • Implement advanced data transformations and processing using PySpark or SQL within Synapse Data Engineering.
  • Create and publish Power BI datasets and reports integrated with Fabric-based semantic models.
  • Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to enable AI/ML workflows and data access.
  • Monitor and improve pipeline performance, reliability, and cost-effectiveness.
  • Work closely with security and governance teams to implement role-based access control, data masking, and lineage tracking.
  • Stay up to date on Microsoft Fabric feature releases and contribute to continuous platform improvement.

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in data or software development roles.
  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric, including:
  • Data Factory (Pipelines, Dataflows Gen2)
  • OneLake and Lakehouse architecture
  • Power BI for reporting and visualization
  • Synapse for data engineering and analytics
  • Strong proficiency in SQL, PySpark, and Power Query (M).
  • Solid understanding of data modeling, dimensional modeling, and performance tuning.
  • Experience with Azure DevOps or GitHub for source control and CI/CD.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, agile environment.
  • Minimum bachelor's degree in computer science or any other relevant degree.
  • Exceptional communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Microsoft Certifications (e.g., Azure Data Engineer, Microsoft Fabric credentials).
  • Experience with real-time data ingestion (Event Hubs, Stream Analytics).
  • Knowledge of data governance tools like Microsoft Purview.
  • Previous experience working in highly regulated industries.
