We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team as a Consultant Specialist.

In this role, you will:

  1. Understand and translate organizational goals relevant to your services and define Service Level Objectives (SLOs), such as reducing incidents, improving service availability, and maintaining/improving SLAs.
  2. Define and agree on SLAs with upstream and downstream systems, including regulatory feeds.
  3. Understand IT risk controls and ensure all services are compliant, including identity access management, change management, release, and incident management.
  4. Manage incident triage calls and make quick decisions for service recovery.
  5. Develop service improvement plans, estimate costs, and secure funding through business agreement.
  6. Collaborate with vendors to define success criteria for service improvements and execute outcome-based contracts.
  7. Specify requirements for observability dashboards according to industry standards.
  8. Review hardware and software upgrade requirements and plan for remediation.
  9. Establish and improve release checklists for all changes going into production.
  10. Ensure service sustainability by periodically assessing capacity requirements and obtaining necessary funding from the business.
  11. Develop strategies to proactively identify and automate the removal of inactive roles, users, processes, and data.
  12. Build, sustain, and upgrade CI/CD pipelines to maintain automated deployments.
  13. Maintain excellent understanding of financials, monitor compliance, automation usage, budget variances, and provide governance around exposure and solutions design.
  14. Create Service Level Indicator (SLI) reports for senior stakeholder forums.
  15. Conduct periodic meetings with business owners to review services.
  16. Manage support teams, including permanent staff and contractors.
