Application & Product Specialist (Molecular Biologist/Biotechnology)

Masters in Molecular Biology/ BioTechnology/MLT

A product manager is responsible for managing the company's marketing & sales initiatives. Uses market research and analysis to direct marketing strategy and planning. Oversees the sales of all promotional materials and marketing campaigns.

1. Assume an active leadership role in the development and implementation of sales strategies to attain assigned sales objectives.
2. Ensure that his team achieves organizational goals and quality objectives within the prescribed time.
3. Achieve monthly, quarterly, and yearly sales targets by using strategic sales plans.
4. Retain, extend, and acquire customers through effective identification of opportunities and specific needs for our industry.
5. Establish/build strong customer relationships that provide growth, profitability, and predictability.
6. Monitor and improve sales team performance by closely working together with team members.
7. Build ongoing knowledge of current industry trends, competitive information, and industry/technical knowledge and disseminate that information with company colleagues, especially with his team via training.
8. Manage daily activities of sales staff such as customer visits, follow-ups, sales calls, complaint handling, etc.
9. Increase sales growth by expanding the market and sales volume.
10. Develop marketing strategies and effective promotional and marketing campaigns. Helps to detail, design, and implement marketing plans for each product or service being offered.
11. Sets marketing schedules and coordinates with colleagues, sponsors, media representatives, and other professionals to implement strategies across multiple channels.
12. Responsible for planning and organizing all the company-related events including symposiums.
13. Analyse trends, data, demographics, pricing strategies, and other information that can potentially improve marketing and sales performance.
14. Interview, hire, manage, and direct members of the company's marketing and sales team.
15. Ensure that he, himself, and his team follow company policies.
16. Attend trade shows and travel to meet clients as needed.
17. Coordinate with the CEO on all the functions/activities of the Sales & Marketing Department.
18. Create and present regular performance reports for CEO/management review.
19. Coordinate with the Compliance Department regarding disposal of queries relating to assigned products.
20. Prepare marketing plans for new products and carry out pre and post-launch activities including market research, clinical trial, awareness programs, etc.
21. Initiate management approval, annual expenses, and sales budget and operate within the framework of approved expenses to achieve budgeted sales.
22. Any other job responsibility assigned by the CEO.

Molecular Biologist/ Pharm D/ MBA / Medical Lab Technologist

3-5 years experience in sales & marketing in a healthcare sector/ pharmaceutical firm/ medical device firm/ molecular biologist in labs or hospitals.
