About the Role:

We are seeking a Senior Data Engineer with hands-on expertise in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (F&O) and Azure Data Engineering tools to lead complex data migration and integration initiatives. This role requires a technically strong, solutions-oriented professional who can design robust ETL pipelines, manage end-to-end data workflows, and ensure data quality and integrity across systems. The ideal candidate will bring leadership capabilities, functional knowledge of ERP systems, and a collaborative mindset to guide the team and deliver impactful results.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage end-to-end data migration activities to Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (F&O).
  • Design, build, and maintain ETL pipelines using Azure Data Factory, Synapse Analytics, and related Azure services.
  • Collaborate with functional and technical stakeholders to understand source systems, data entities, and mapping requirements.
  • Ensure high data quality and validation across migration phases, including mock loads, UAT, and cutover activities.
  • Develop and support data integration between Dynamics 365 and external platforms or legacy systems.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues during and after migration efforts.
  • Document data mappings, migration logic, and integration architectures to ensure knowledge transfer and process repeatability.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentoring to team members; foster a collaborative and proactive team culture.
  • Maintain a strong customer-focused mindset and adopt a consultative approach in delivery.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
  • Proven hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O, especially in data migration and working with data entities (minimum 2 projects).
  • Strong command over Azure Data Engineering tools including: Azure Data Factory, Synapse Analytics, Azure SQL, Azure Blob Storage, Azure DevOps
  • Proficiency in designing and optimizing ETL processes and data pipelines.
  • Experience with Power Platform tools like Power Apps and Power Automate.
  • Familiarity with the Data Management Framework (DMF) in Dynamics 365.
  • Experience with data migration from legacy ERP systems such as Yardi, SAP, or MRI is a plus.
  • Excellent problem-solving, team collaboration, and communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead, coach, and motivate a technical team effectively.

Preferred Skills:

  • Microsoft Certifications in Azure Data Engineering and/or Dynamics 365 F&O.
  • Experience working in Agile delivery environments and managing DevOps pipelines.
  • Strong documentation and stakeholder communication skills.
  • Ability to balance technical depth with functional understanding of business processes in ERP systems.

Salary bracket: PKR 200,000 – 550,000 (based on experience and expertise)
