We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Finance Associate with 1-2 years of experience to join our finance team. The Finance Associate will play a key role in streamlining banking processes, managing accounts payable, and ensuring accurate expense tracking.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Handle daily banking activities and build strong relationships with banking partners.
  • Process and monitor cheques and other payment instruments efficiently.
  • Support accounts payable by verifying invoices, ensuring timely payments, and maintaining vendor relationships.
  • Track, reconcile, and optimize company expenses for operational efficiency.
  • Prepare and analyze financial reports to provide actionable insights to management.
  • Assist with month-end and year-end financial closing processes to maintain accuracy.
  • Maintain well-organized financial records and ensure compliance with policies.
  • Take ownership of ad hoc tasks assigned by management, contributing to organizational goals.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • 1-2 years of relevant experience in banking operations, accounts payable, or finance-related roles.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software.
  • Strong organizational skills with an eye for detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively within a team.
