INTECH Process Automation is looking to hire a Process Engineer with hands-on process design experience.

Below are some of the main responsibilities of the position:

  • Supervise and oversee the design of process equipment like Pressure Vessels, Shell & Tube Heat Exchangers, Storage Tanks, Separators, Process Skids Packages, Chemical Injection Skids, etc.
  • Participate in and close out recommendations from studies like HAZOP, HAZID, PHA, SIL, and Risk management.
  • Prepare Basis of Design, Process Design Criteria, and develop PFDs & P&IDs, Instrument Process Datasheets (Flow Instruments, Control Valves & Relief Valves), Equipment List, Line List, Tie-in & Utility List.
  • Conduct technical bid evaluations and comparative analysis. Experience in proposals, tenders, and bidding procedures is a plus.
  • Manage projects, procurement, and control costs effectively.
  • Manage vendors and subcontractors, coordinate across disciplines, resolve customer conflicts, handle change orders, and develop goal-oriented teams.
  • Handle hazardous areas with proper classification, adhering to SOPs such as Fireproofing, HSE philosophy, Dispersion and Surge Analyses, Dynamic Simulations, ITB, review vendor documents, evaluate technical bids, write technical reports, and conduct technical design reviews.

Requirements:

  • Education: Master's or Bachelor's in Chemical Engineering
  • Minimum 6+ years of design experience in Oil & Gas industry.
  • Experience with FEED and detailed design of brownfield and greenfield projects.
  • Proficient in Control Valves & PRV/PSV Sizing.
  • Ability to perform Pump & Compressor Hydraulic Calculations, Line Sizing, Blowdown Calculations, and Hydrate Formation Studies.
  • Capable of preparing calculation sheets in Excel.
  • Strong knowledge of thermodynamics, fluid flow, and heat transfer.
  • Problem-solving skills with out-of-the-box thinking and ability to work under pressure.
  • Experience working in high-paced team environments.
  • Good communication skills with co-workers and clients.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Willingness to travel across Pakistan and globally for projects.

Software Skills:

  • Experience with modelling and simulation tools such as ASPEN HYSYS, ASPEN EDR (Shell & Tube / Air Cooler), ASPEN PLUS, FLARENET, FLARESIM, PIPESIM, PIPENET is highly desired.
  • Motivated to learn new software applications and technologies for growth in multi-skillset capacities.
