In this position, you will manage the receivables team, oversee the management of accounts receivable, and ensure that financial statements reflect accurate project-related transactions. You will be responsible for collaborating with project managers and other departments to align accounting practices with company goals. Successful candidates will demonstrate a proven track record in managing receivables, as well as expertise in project accounting. A strong background in telecommunications finance is a plus. This position requires a commitment to maintaining high standards of integrity and compliance, as well as the ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels. Responsibilities
  • Oversee the management of accounts receivable processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in billing and collections.
  • Collaborate with project managers to monitor and report on project financials, identifying potential discrepancies and opportunities for improvement.
  • Prepare and present project accounting reports to senior management, providing insights and recommendations for financial decision-making.
  • Lead and mentor a team of accounts receivable professionals, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
  • Ensure adherence to industry regulations and internal policies related to receivables and project accounting practices.
  • Develop and implement strategies to enhance the efficiency of the receivables processes, reducing DSO and improving cash flow.
  • Analyze project financial data to ensure proper revenue recognition and compliance with accounting standards.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; ACCA or CMA certification is required.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounts receivable management, with a focus on project accounting in the telecommunications sector.
  • Proven ability to manage complex financial data related to project accounting and reporting.
  • Strong knowledge of industry regulations, accounting principles, and financial reporting standards.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills with experience in managing and developing a high-performing team.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
