Job Summary

As a PHP WordPress Developer, you will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and customizing WordPress websites. You will primarily focus on creating and modifying WordPress plugins and themes, ensuring high performance, and delivering exceptional user experiences. Your ability to write clean, efficient, and well-documented PHP code is essential.

Responsibilities

  1. Develop and maintain WordPress websites, including custom themes and plugins.
  2. Customize and extend existing WordPress plugins to meet specific project requirements.
  3. Write clean, efficient, and well-documented PHP code.
  4. Troubleshoot and debug WordPress issues.
  5. Collaborate with designers and other developers to implement website features.
  6. Optimize website performance for speed and scalability.
  7. Implement and maintain responsive designs for various devices.
  8. Stay up-to-date with the latest WordPress trends and best practices.
  9. Manage and maintain version control using Git.
  10. Perform website backups and security updates.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  1. Minimum 1 year of professional experience in PHP WordPress development.
  2. Strong understanding of WordPress architecture and best practices.
  3. Experience customizing and extending WordPress plugins using PHP.
  4. Familiarity with WordPress theme development.
  5. Knowledge of RESTful APIs and web services.
  6. Experience with version control systems (Git).
  7. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  8. Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
  9. Strong attention to detail.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, related field, or equivalent practical experience.
