Position: Associate – Economics and Data Analytics

About Reenergia

Reenergia is a for-profit social impact advisory firm working across development and private sectors. The firm operates in a fast-paced and flexible environment, supported by a compact and agile team with backgrounds in economics, public policy, social development, health systems, and data analytics.

Reenergia provides technical and strategic support to public, multilateral, and private sector clients. Its portfolio includes assignments for the World Bank, Asian Development Bank (ADB), International Trade Centre (ITC), UN agencies, and national institutions. The firm also advises health sector service providers on systems integration, data strategies, and operational planning.

Reenergia is a member of the Global Network of Civil Society Organizations for Disaster Reduction (GNDR) and the United Nations Global Compact (UNGC). Thematic areas of work include disaster risk financing, climate transition, monitoring and evaluation, inclusive finance, and gender and social analysis.

Project teams at Reenergia work across disciplines. All team members are expected to contribute to both technical content and implementation. The work requires adaptability, communication, and the ability to deliver under short timelines while maintaining high quality. Knowledge sharing, transparency, and integrity are core to how the team functions.

Key Responsibilities

Research, Analysis, and Writing

• Conduct quantitative and qualitative research using Excel, Python, R, Tableau, or STATA.
• Contribute to economic, trade, and policy analytics including macroeconomic reviews, SME ecosystem studies, and climate transition strategies.
• Draft sections of proposals, technical reports, analytical briefs, and client presentations.
• Assist in designing and implementing surveys, focus groups, and evaluations.
• Develop data visualizations and analytical insights for internal and external use.

Operational and Business Support

• Coordinate with clients, partners, and field teams on project timelines and deliverables.
• Contribute to the preparation of bids, business development proposals, and capability statements.
• Support internal documentation, process coordination, and tracking of milestones.

Who We're Looking For

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in economics, Public Policy, Data Science, Development Studies, or a related discipline with 2–3 years of experience; OR
• Master's degree with 1–2 years of relevant experience.
• Proficiency in at least two data tools or programming languages (e.g., Excel, Python, R, Tableau, STATA).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Analytical Rigor: Able to apply both quantitative and qualitative methods and produce structured outputs from complex datasets.
• Research & Writing: Clear, concise writing for technical, policy, and client-facing documents.
• Project Coordination: Able to manage tasks across multiple streams and meet tight deadlines.
