Position Summary:

The Accounts Receivable role involves performing accounting and clerical duties related to accounts receivable transactions. The ideal candidate will work independently and in teams, executing responsibilities with discretion and minimal supervision.

Responsibilities:

  1. Posting all incoming payments from various platforms.
  2. Creating deposits in the accounting software to match each settlement batch.
  3. Handling all payment-related WIP items.
  4. Reviewing and closing files on PIF or SIF.
  5. Reviewing customer accounts in Payscout and Paywire monthly.
  6. Creating sales orders/invoices daily based on WIP items.
  7. Managing CBS inbox for payment-related issues.
  8. Investigating and resolving invoice processing problems with vendors.
  9. Handling vendor correspondence via phone or email.
  10. Reconciling all trust and sweep accounts monthly and reporting discrepancies to the accounting manager.
  11. Maintaining and distributing accounting documents, records, and reports.
  12. Assisting with external audits by compiling information and preparing responses.
  13. Performing other duties to support the accounting department.

Requirements:

  • Associate's degree (B.Com) or higher in Accounting and Finance.
  • 1-2 years of experience in an accounts receivable role.
  • Experience with accounting software such as NetSuite is highly desirable.
  • Strong understanding of basic accounting principles, including debits and credits, financial statements, and reconciliations.
  • Excellent communication skills for interacting with customers, vendors, and team members.
