About the Company: We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Associate Bookkeeper with a strong background in QuickBooks and Xero to join our finance team. The ideal candidate should be QuickBooks certified, possess a deep understanding of accounting principles, and demonstrate a high level of accuracy and efficiency in managing financial records and reporting.

About the Role: The Associate Bookkeeper will play a crucial role in our finance team, ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our financial operations.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage day-to-day accounting operations using QuickBooks Online/Desktop
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
  • Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations
  • Maintain the general ledger and chart of accounts
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting standards
  • Process payroll or review payroll reports for accuracy
  • Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow analysis
  • Handle monthly close process and journal entries
  • Coordinate with external auditors, tax consultants, and vendors as needed
  • Train and support junior staff on QuickBooks processes and best practices
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • QuickBooks Online or Desktop Certification is required
  • 1+ years of accounting experience, using QuickBooks
  • Strong understanding of financial reporting
  • Excellent Excel and data analysis skills
  • Attention to detail and high level of accuracy
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with other accounting software (Xero, Sage, etc.)
  • Prior experience in public accounting or outsourced accounting services
  • Familiarity with US tax laws and compliance (if applicable)

Pay range and compensation package: 80,000pkr-140,000pkr
