What You'll Be Doing

• Conducting user research (interviews, surveys, usability tests) to uncover user needs and validate product-market fit.
• Creating user personas, journey maps, and wireframes to define seamless user experiences.
• Designing high-fidelity UI mockups and prototypes that are both functional and visually compelling.
• Collaborating with engineers to ensure designs are technically feasible and implemented accurately.
• Iterating on designs based on user feedback and testing to refine the product.
• Building and maintaining a design system to ensure consistency across the product.
• Collaborating with the founding team to shape the product vision and strategy.

What We're Looking For

• Strong skills in user research methodologies (qualitative and quantitative) to understand target audiences.
• Proficiency in design tools like Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD for wireframing, prototyping, and UI design.
• Experience creating user flows, wireframes, and high-fidelity designs that prioritize usability and aesthetics.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including engineers etc.
• Comfort navigating ambiguity and iterating quickly in a fast-paced startup environment.
• A portfolio showcasing end-to-end design projects, from research to final UI deliverables.
• Knowledge of lean startup methodologies or customer development frameworks (e.g., Jobs-to-be-Done) is a bonus.

Minimum Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in UX/UI design/product design, preferably in a startup or tech environment.
• Proficiency in design tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD).
• Demonstrated experience conducting user research and translating insights into design solutions.
• A portfolio showcasing user-centered design projects with clear outcomes.
