About the Role:

This role requires a high level of attention to detail, superb organizational skills, and a deep understanding of legal terminology and court procedures. The ideal candidate can manage a fast-paced environment, communicate effectively with various stakeholders, and provide supportive assistance to legal professionals.

Responsibilities:

  1. Answer calls and schedule meetings with attorneys.
  2. Draft and prepare legal documents related to Estate Planning, Probate, and Guardianship.
  3. Conduct legal research and gather relevant information.
  4. Assist attorneys with case preparation and management.
  5. Maintain and organize client files and records.
  6. Communicate with clients and other parties as needed.
  7. Schedule meetings with clients and keep matters moving toward conclusion.
  8. Draft pleadings and estate documents according to attorney specifications.
  9. Manage and share timelines of all matters using the firm's CRM.
  10. Present all drafts to the attorney for review.
  11. Payments, billing, and e-filing will be handled by the attorney.
  12. Sign confidentiality and proprietary agreements.

What We're Looking For:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Law is required.
  • Proven experience as a Paralegal in Estate Planning, Probate, and Guardianship is preferred but training will be provided for suitable candidates.
  • Strong knowledge of relevant laws and legal procedures.
  • Excellent drafting and writing skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.

Work Timings:

This is a Full-time role with US hours. Specific hours will be determined based on business needs.
