Job Overview:

We are seeking a reliable, hands-on, and technically sound Site Engineer to join our real estate development team at The Vertical. The Site Engineer will be responsible for the day-to-day supervision, coordination, and execution of civil construction activities on residential, commercial, and mixed-use project sites. This role demands a solid understanding of civil construction practices, quality control, material management, and contractor supervision to ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and in line with design specifications and timelines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise on-site civil works, ensuring adherence to approved drawings, project specifications, and quality standards.
  • Manage daily site activities, resolve technical issues, and coordinate between contractors, labor teams, and the project management office.
  • Quality Control & Compliance:
  • Ensure all work is executed following safety protocols, construction codes, and quality benchmarks.
  • Monitor workmanship, material usage, and adherence to design specifications.
  • Coordination with Project Teams:
  • Collaborate closely with MEP Engineers, architects, and procurement teams for seamless site operations and timely material arrangements.
  • Report daily progress and challenges to the Project Manager.
  • Verify and record site material deliveries, monitor stock levels, and ensure efficient resource allocation on-site.
  • Maintain proper site records including daily progress reports, labor deployment records, inspection checklists, and as-built drawings.
  • Supervise subcontractors' activities and ensure work schedules are met.
  • Assist in the verification of subcontractor bills based on work completion.
  • Enforce safety regulations on-site and conduct toolbox talks with the site team.
  • Ensure a safe working environment and immediate action on reported hazards.

Required Qualifications:

  • Diploma of Associate Engineering (DAE) – Civil or Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
  • 5–8 years of relevant site supervision experience in real estate construction projects.
  • Strong knowledge of construction techniques, civil drawings, and quality control procedures.
  • Familiarity with local building codes, site safety regulations, and documentation protocols.
  • Proficient in MS Office and AutoCAD for reading and interpreting construction drawings.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working on high-rise residential, commercial, and mixed-use developments.
  • Strong site management, problem-solving, and coordination skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple site operations and meet strict deadlines.
  • Exposure to structural works, finishing works, and infrastructure development.
