We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated IT System Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in system administration, network support, and IT helpdesk systems. Knowledge and experience in cloud services will be considered a significant advantage.

Key Responsibilities
  1. IT Support: Provide first-line and second-line IT support to end-users, resolving technical issues efficiently via phone, email, or in-person.
  2. System Administration: Manage and maintain servers, workstations, and IT infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance and security.
  3. Network Support: Troubleshoot and resolve network-related issues, including LAN, WAN, and VPN configurations.
  4. Helpdesk Systems: Monitor, manage, and escalate tickets using IT helpdesk systems, ensuring timely resolution of issues.
  5. Cloud Services: Support and manage cloud environments (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
  6. Maintenance and Monitoring: Perform regular system checks, updates, and backups to ensure business continuity and data integrity.
  7. IT Projects: Assist in the implementation and management of IT projects, including hardware and software deployments.
  8. Documentation: Maintain accurate and detailed records of IT systems, procedures, and issue resolutions.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  1. Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  2. Proven experience in system administration, IT helpdesk, and network support.
  3. Strong knowledge of Windows/Linux operating systems and network protocols.
  4. Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud is highly desirable.
  5. Proficiency in troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues.
  6. Experience with IT tools and management systems, including Active Directory, Office 365, and virtualization technologies.
  7. Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical issues to non-technical users.
  8. Analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  9. Certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, MCSA or Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate are a plus.
