Overview

Kifayat Publishers is seeking a skilled and experienced Assistant Accountant to manage our financial transactions, maintain accurate records, and ensure compliance with accounting standard & requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and reconcile supplier/customer invoices and payments
  • Prepare and post journal entries to the general ledger
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulatory requirements and company policies
  • Assist with internal and external audits
  • Prepare and review financial statements including balance sheet, income statement and cash flow
  • Maintain and update cash book and petty cash book
  • Correspondent daily with banks and handle related documentation
Qualifications and Skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Commerce
  • Proficiency in MS Office and computerized accounting
  • Busy software experience is mandatory
  • Excellent financial analysis and reporting skills
Requirements
  • Minimum 2 years relevant experience
